It comes down to three things: how much there is, what it weighs and how far it sits from where we can park the truck. Dirt, rock and concrete cost more to haul than the same size pile of brush, because the dump charges by weight. Once we start, the price we quoted is the price you pay. We don't add fees after the job.
It matters because carrying is the slow part of the job. On one recent job, about an eighth of a load sat roughly 115 feet from where the truck could park. The customer thought it was closer. It took us 36 minutes and 27 seconds, and that included a 5 minute break and cleanup. If you tell us about how far it is and send a photo, we can get the estimate right the first time.
No. Back yard, side yard, garage or out on the lot, we load it where it sits. If it's already at the curb, you get a discount.
Yes. We haul off lumber, drywall, roofing, tile and the rest of the leftover building material. See Construction Cleanup.
Yes. Those are heavy, so give us a rough size of the pile. See Rock & Dirt Removal and Concrete Removal.
Yes. We work with homeowners, landlords, property managers, contractors and businesses. Call when a job site or a unit needs clearing, or set up regular pickups, weekly or at each phase of the job.
We can usually haul it off within 1 to 3 days of your call, and sometimes the same day.
No. If we can get to the pile, we can haul it off while you're at work or out of town.
We serve Tucson, Oro Valley, Marana, Catalina, Picture Rocks, Vail, Sahuarita and Green Valley. If you're within 10 to 20 miles of city limits, chances are we can do it. For larger jobs, we'll go farther, out to Benson, Sierra Vista, Hereford and Willcox.
We can't take paint, chemicals, fuel, batteries or propane tanks. If you're not sure about something, send a photo and ask.

I'm very satisfied with Grunt Work's performance on cleaning up our yard to get it ready to sell our home. I got the estimate on a Monday and work started on Wednesday. They were on time, quick and efficient. It was a big job hauling years worth of landscape debris, old piles of wood covered in packrat droppings/cactus, cutting back desert broom, and hauling away miscellaneous outdoor furniture and junk. I used to do the same type of work and understand how tuff the job is and they got it done right without cutting corners. If I was still in the same business I would want to work with employees like Jamie and Alex. Too bad we are moving out of state, we would have definitely worked with them again.

These gentleman were prompt and executed the task precisely as I described. Their communication was top notch and the final price was affordable. They hauled away a bunch of junk that would have taken me hours to haul on my own.
